Since its creation in 1988, the Group of Robotics INTervention on Accidents (INTRA) has TO CONCEIVE, TO EXPLOIT and TO MAINTAIN a fleet of robotics machines
24 hours / 24 hours capable of intervening, in the place of man, in a
major nuclear accident, in and around the industrial buildings of its
members. It also assures the continous training of pilots within the installations of companies members.
The Groupe INTRA has developed an expertise of the remote intervention
by listing and capitalizing on the experience of actual interventions
within companies’ members (EDF - CEA - AREVA) or anywhere else,
concerning incident, exceptional maintenance, or cleaning and/or
decommissioning. It has become a pole of inventory and expertise for
techniques and mobilizable robotics machines in the case of a crisis.
